Inverted started when a bunch of people with similar passions for music, snowboarding and art decided to blend their talents of engineering acumen and creative brilliance to create a company that would make it easier for artists to translate their art onto new mediums and expose them to broader markets for more people to enjoy.
We call it artistic science. Joined by the beliefs that style is profoundly distinct from fashion and that impossibility is merely a temporary state, we are inspired by our passion to create; driven by our obsession to perfect; navigated by the voices. We produce precision style, handcrafted with love by brilliant maniacs.
We started out with a couple of stylish and refreshing clothing lines for people with “active” lifestyles and more interest in truly unique designs than perpetual refurbishments of a logo or phrase. Since then, we’ve created lines for nearly a dozen artists under our umbrella; and our product range continues to expand and explore the boundaries of printed media, pop art and our own ingenuity.
We source only the finest materials and hand-print everything at galaxy HQ in Wellington to ship throughout the world. What we can’t do ourselves, we use local partners to fill in the gaps, building a network of products, resources and services that is limited only by what one can dream.
